Biden Bunker Gaffes

Hidin’ Biden has spent the majority of quarantine hunkered down in his basement, doing the occasional virtual interview with an amicable member of the left-leaning press who has fallen in line as Biden campaign cronies. The Biden campaign hoped to seize this opportunity as a way to avoid the gaffes and strange behavior we have become accustomed to by Joe Biden on the campaign trail—ah yes, who could forget Biden calling one young voter a “lying dog-faced pony soldier”, the time he called another a “damned liar”, or the many times he appeared to forget where he was. 

The leftist reporters in the media longingly opined, “If Joe Biden plays his cards right, the death of the traditional presidential campaign will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. The 77-year-old Mr. Biden, whom the president derisively calls “Sleepy Joe,” can become the hottest bad boy and disrupter in the media game.” In short, quarantine could have been the best thing to happen for the Biden campaign, but even in a campaign-controlled environment, where it seems every question that reaches Joe Biden has been screened, the gaffes haven’t stopped-- much to the chagrin of fake news media. 

Let’s take a look at some of the gaffes that have emerged from the Biden Bunker:

• Biden says coronavirus crisis provides an “opportunity” to push the Green New Deal
• Biden claims he taught at UPenn, despite never teaching any courses at UPenn
• Biden suggests that the Trump administration should implement the Defense Production Act after the administration already did.
• Biden says that the coronavirus started in the Luhan province.
• Biden said Trump should assemble a coronavirus task force—Trump did that in January. 
• Biden calls CVS, CVC.
• Biden realized at the end of an interview that he had not been looking at the camera.
• Biden forgot the name of the H1N1 virus.
• Biden forgets the name of COVID-19, instead calling it COVID-9.
• Biden cannot remember what year 9/11 happened. 
• When talking about a recovery act for the coronavirus, Joe Biden says it is an opportunity to “fundamentally change the science related to global warming”
• Biden holds up a picture of his granddaughters and simultaneously forgets how many granddaughters he has.
• Biden cannot recall the advisors who give him a briefing on coronavirus every morning
• Biden confuses what century he campaigned in, saying 1918.

Biden is falling behind in polls as it appears that he cannot manage to keep it together even with a safety net. What will happen when Biden is forced to reemerge from his basement and hit the campaign trail once more? I’ll take a moment to borrow a phrase Biden coined himself, “Look, fat”, if history has a way of repeating itself, it won’t be good for Team Biden.
