NJ pollster Adam Geller hired by pro-Trump super PACs

New Jersey pollster Adam Geller has signed on to work for two super PACs working to re-elect President Donald Trump.

American First Action PAC and America First Policies said they have hired Geller, according to a report in the Washington Examiner.

The PACs reported raising more than $17 million during the first half of 2019, the report said.

“Honored to be part of this incredible team,” Geller said in a Facebook post today.

Geller, who runs National Research, Inc., was a pollster for Trump’s 2016 campaign.  He started running a local New Jersey polling firm but has emerged as one of the nation’s leading Republican campaign pollsters over the last dozen firms.

He was the pollster for Chris Christie’s 2009 and 2013 gubernatorial campaigns, and for Christie’s unsuccessful bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

Geller also polled for U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin and congressional candidate Jay Webber in 2018, and for GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Forrester in 2005.

Past Geller clients have included Reps. Rodney Frelinghuysen, Leonard Lance, Tom MacArthur and Mike Ferguson.  He’s also polled for State Sens. Joseph Kyrillos, Jennifer Beck and Declan O’Scanlon in New Jersey, and for Old Bridge Mayor Owen Henry, Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac, Sayreville Mayor Kennedy O’Brien, and Long Branch Mayor Adam Schneider.
