The Build Back Blunder: America Cannot Afford Joe Biden

Looking to rebuild the American economy, Biden turns to the failed liberal policies of tax hikes and big government

Joe Biden’s disastrous half-century record in Washington proves he’s is incapable of creating jobs, pro-growth policies, and leading America’s economic comeback after coronavirus. Tonight, Biden will explain his “Build Back Better” initiative, which is a bonanza of tax increases, spending and regulations that would devastate American workers and families. Not to mention, the tacky slogan is ripped off a United Nations campaign; which is fitting because plagiarism has been a common thread throughout Biden’s career.

The Trump Administration created historic prosperity and opportunity for all Americans before the coronavirus hit through a pro-growth, America First agenda. President Trump did it once, and he can do it again.

Biden’s $4 TRILLION TAX HIKE

Joe Biden’s tax plan would cost American taxpayers $4 trillion, decimating the potential for economic gains and making it impossible for American families and workers to recover in the wake of the coronavirus:

OFFSHORE Joe:

Biden claims he wants to bring American manufacturing back to our home soil, but his policies while in office are responsible for the offshoring and elimination of jobs for millions of Americans:

While Joe Biden says he wants to focus on “Made in America” policy, his record says otherwise:

  • Biden supported China’s entry into the World Trade Organization and led the efforts to denote China with “Most Favored Nation” trading status, a move that decimated 3.7 million American jobs.
  • Biden said if he becomes President he’ll surrender to China on trade, and scrap President Trump’s tariffs without any concessions.
  • What remains concerning is that while Joe Biden virtue-signals on the importance of American manufacturing, he neglects to recognize the threat that China.
    • For years, Biden defended China, saying “It is in our self-interest that China continue to prosper,” that “China’s not a problem,” and that China is “not bad” and “not competition” for America.

President Trump re-negotiated many of the disastrous trade deals that Joe Biden supported to bring back American manufacturing and promote American independence:

  • President Trump got rid of the disastrous NAFTA that outsourced millions of American jobs & Joe Biden backed and replaced it with USMCA, a better deal for American workers, manufacturers, and farmers that will incite strong economic growth and more jobs.
  • President Trump achieved a Phase One Trade Agreement with China.
  • President Trump fulfilled his promise to renegotiate the United States-Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS), providing a boost to American auto exports.
  • President Trump fulfilled his promise to withdraw from the disastrous Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
  • President Trump negotiated two tremendous deals with Japan to boost America’s agricultural and digital trade with the world’s third largest economy.

The Bottom Line: The Biden-Obama so-called “recovery” failed to bring back American manufacturing jobs, they lost 192,000 on their watch. Meanwhile, the Trump Administration has created more than half a million manufacturing jobs, through his trade negotiations and pro-growth economic policies.

The SOCIALIST Green New Deal

Biden has embraced the Green New Deal, with the aim of eradicating carbon pollution from the power sector by 2035 and to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. It is simply impossible to do this without banning fracking and obliterating our energy sector.

Biden proudly pledged to “sacrifice” blue-collar energy jobs and promised “no new fracking” in a Biden Administration.

Kamala Harris fully endorses this plan. In a CNN Townhall, Harris said unequivocally, “There is no question, I’m in favor of banning fracking.” Harris praised the Green New Deal and its socialist, job-eliminating, everything-banning “principles” as “sound and important.”

Biden’s climate plan  will cost taxpayers $2 trillion, and his economic plan would cost $700 billion.

  • Biden says he would hike taxes to pay for these plans, smothering the economy in the middle of a comeback.

The Green New Deal is a socialist behemoth that would bring back a heavy handed government killing American jobs, growth, and prosperity:

  • The implementation of the GreenNew Deal could cost as much as $93 trillion; that’s over $650,000 for the average household. To put these astronomical numbers in perspective, the deal would cost our government more in 10 years than it has spent in our nation’s history; or more than the combined GDP of every nation on earth.
  • The transition to a low carbon power grid under the Green New Deal would increase electricity costs by 22 percent
  • It’s healthcare proposal would cost $260,000 per household
  • America’s energy industry would be destroyed, our economy would be depleted, and jobs would be lost.

American Energy Production Has Soared Under President Trump

American energy production is soaring to new heights under President Trump’s pro-jobs, pro-national security, and energy independence agenda.

  • Under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is the world’s number one producer of oil and natural gas.
  • American energy exports reached an all-time high last year, marking the first time in 67 years that our annual gross energy exports exceeded our gross energy imports.
  • Crude oil production hit new record highs in 2018 and 2019, leaping past the previous record set in 1970.
    • Crude oil production was up 38 percent last year compared to 2016.
  • The Trump Administration has increased exports of U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) by nearly five-fold.
  • President Trump has proven that energy production and environmental stewardship are not mutually exclusive.
    • America continues to be a world leader in clean air, including in energy-related CO2 emissions.
    • Our Nation’s air quality has improved by 77 percent over the last 50 years, including 7 percent under President Trump.

Biden has under-reported the true costs of his spending plans

Taken all together, Biden’s campaign is proposing nearly $6 trillion in spending, with the likely total over $10 trillion according to independent estimates:

  • Biden’s newly unveiled plan to eliminate oil, gas, and coal from our electric grid would cost $4.5 trillion, $2.5 trillion more than he claims it would.
  • An independent analysis says Biden’s healthcare plan would cost nearly $2.25 trillion, $1.5 trillion more than he says.

The Biden economic “recovery” was the worst since the Great Depression. It failed to bring back manufacturing jobs, wage growth was stagnant, the middle-class shrunk, 14 million Americans left the workforce, and nearly 800,000 fell into poverty. By 2016, 57 percent of Americans believed the economy was getting worse.

Do we want history to repeat itself? Biden has proved over and over he’s not fit to lead. The bottom line is Biden has been wrong for way too long and America can’t afford his disastrous economic policies.
